Canadian Initiative on Digital Libraries - To promote, coordinate and facilitates the development of collections and services. Contains information about policies, members, activities and links; also available in French.
Center for the Study of Digital Libraries - Established in 1995 at Texas A&M University and builds upon research developed in the Hypermedia Research Laboratory established in 1987. Includes research, publications, events and course information.
Colorado Digitization Project - A collaborative initiative to provide access to the unique collections of local archives, historical societies, libraries, and museums. Includes guidelines, standards, resources and links to further information.
Desire Project - Development of a European Service for Information on Research and Education. This project ran from July 1998 until June 2000 and was a collaboration between partners at ten institutions from four European countries - the Netherlands, Norway, Sweden and the UK.
DIGI-EVAL - Mailing list to support the Evalued project and enable discussion of issues concerning the evaluation of electronic library initiatives.

NSDL Communication Portal - Provides users and developers of the National Science Digital Library with an online collaborative area, including public workspaces, discussion forums, and support.
OpenDLib (ODL) - A project to develop a software toolkit hosted by the National Research Council (Italy), with some technical information available.
Palo Alto Research Centre (PARC) - Information Sciences and Technologies Laboratory. Project areas include Human-Document Interaction (HDI), Natural Language Theory and Technology (NLTT), Quantitative Content Analysis, Sparrow Web, Statistical Pattern and Image Analysis, and User Interface Research.
