DOE Office of Science - DOE's Office of Science oversees much of the basic research done in the physical sciences in the U.S., as well as managing DOE's national laboratories. Their site includes program descriptions, information on grants and contracts, some links to kid-oriented science sites, and links to DOE-related document and image archives.
Energy Sciences Network - The Energy Sciences Network, or ESnet, is a high-speed network serving thousands of Department of Energy scientists and collaborators worldwide. ESnet enables researchers at national laboratories, universities and other institutions to communicate with each other to address some of the world's most important scientific challenges.
